Saturday September 14, 2013 the annual Fireman’s Convention Parade was held in Dover. Many Fire Companies in and out of state participated. Volunteer Hose Company apparatus that participated were A-27, Tower 27, Engine 1-6, and Command unit 27-8. The results of the judged units are as follows: Engine 1-6 won best appearing pumper, Command unit 27-8 won best appearing command vehicle, and Tower 27 won best appearing apparatus in the state for the fourth year in a row.
