On Wednesday September 18, 2013 the Volunteer Hose Company, Townsend Fire Company and Odessa Fire Company were alerted to an incident at 705 Middletown Warwick Road. First units arriving found flames and thick black smoke billowing from the front of the new location of the Westown Theatre. The fire was quickly extinguished.
