At 06:14 this morning, the New Castle County Fireboard alerted the VHC for a motor vehicle collision (VHC) at the intersection of Howell School Road and Summit Bridge Road. Units arrived to find a flatbed semi-trailer hauling steel that had struck the rear of another 18 wheeler. The steel load shifted during the collision and pushed into the sleeper cab from the rear. Units Responding: Ambulances A-1 & A-27 and Mini 27-1.
