At 18:18 today the New Castle County Fireboard alerted the VHC, along with NCC Paramedics, for an MVC in the area of the intersection of Middletown - Warwick Road (301) and Peterson Road. Units arrived to find a two vehicle MVC with a single patient. Crews stabilized the vehicle and performed a roof flap on the vehicle to assist with removing the patient. The patient was loaded into a LifeNet medevac helicopter for transport to the trauma center. Units Responding: Ambulance B-27, Mini 27-1, Engine 1-6, Rescue 27, NCC Paramedic Unit 5 and Lifenet 6-1.
