At 15:51 the VHC was alerted for the ladder and engine assist to Odessa for a residential fire. Units arrived to find a home under construction with heavy fire throughout and exposure to a second residence. On arrival, Tower 27 was placed in service on the main fire building for master stream operations. Crews assisted with overhaul and extinguishing hot spots until released by command.
