This afternoon Volunteer Hose was alerted to and MVC with heavy entrapment and mulitple patients trapped. Kent County Stations 44 (Smyrna) and 45 (Clayton) were cover up enignes for the Volunteer Hose, they responded to the scene along with Rescue 27 and Engine 1-6 and B-27. First units arrived to find (2) vehicles with heavy impact, and multiple victims trapped. The crews made quick work of the vehicles and freed both patients. NCCALS and Trooper 4 medics were also onscene to administer patient care. One subject was transported by Trooper 4 and the other (2) went by ground BLS. The road was closed for several hours while DSP investigated the incident. The units cleared and returned to Station 27 and Station 1.
