Saturday September 19th, the Volunteer Hose along with other Delaware Fire Departments put on their best display of apparatus and memebership at this years Convention.  Tower 27 won first place in the Aerial catagory as well as Best Appearing Apparatus in the State of Delaware (again).  Engine 1-6 won first place in the Engine Pumper catagory. 

Many man hours and weeks of preparation go into the cleaning of the trucks for this parade every year.  All the apparatus throughout the state that are judged, all the equipment is working equipment and do their jobs throughout the year.  It is a great honor and privelage to see all the hard work pay off at the end of the parade.
