The evening of November 24 stations 1 & 27 and 4 & 24 for BLS were alerted to a MVC with entrapment on Middletown Odessa Road in front of Middletown High School. A BLS unit from station 27 was first to arrive and reported that there was a subject trapped in one of the vehicles. Upon arrival of the Rescue 27 and 27-1 the crews quickly started extrication of the patient. New Castle County Paramedic 5 and Trooper 4 also responded to the incident. Other patients were transported by ground BLS and the extricated patient was flown by Trooper 4
