Tuesday, August 4, 2020, Volunteer Hose Company of Middletown responded to multiple Weather / Disaster related calls during Hurricane Isaias. Damage was believed to have been the result of a tornado(s) spawned from this Hurricane. The National Weather Service has since confirmed it was in fact a tornado that traveled 29.2 miles from Dover to Middletown. Multiple homes, vehicles, trees and personal property were damaged during this storm. Thankfully, no serious injuries or deaths were reported in the Middletown area.
