At 06:32 on Tuesday August 11, 2020, stations 1 & 27 were alerted to a residential structure fire in the Estates at Cedar Lane. First arriving units found structure to be heavily involved. Soon after arrival, command ordered evacuation of the structure and operations became exterior. Units from the Volunteer Hose Co., Christiana, Aetna HH & L, Port Penn and Townsend fire departments worked to extinguish the fire. At 07:51 the scene was placed under control and turned over to the State Fire Marshal.
