Tuesday night, August 5th at 23:18hrs, Stations 1&27 and Medic 5D were alerted for a MVC in the area of the above address. While units were enroute, fireboard advised that additional calls were being recieved reporting a single vehicle off of the roadway and on fire. B-1 was onscene moments after dispatch confirming a vehicle involved, and severed a pole with power lines down. Engine 27-3 (at station 1) was onscene shortly after the BLS unit and the crew extinguished the fire. At that time, all occupants were unaccounted for and a large area search took place. DSP was able to locate the vehicle occupants at their residence, and requested an ambulance to transport to CER. Units responding were BLS B-1 and A-1, Rescue 27, 27-1, Engine 1-3 and 27-3, ALS 22 and M-5D.
