On Monday, November 3rd at 08:04hrs, Stations 1&27, Medic 6B, Marine units 12-M2 and 15-M2 and the NCC Dive Team were alerted for a vehicle in the water at the boat ramp in Lums Pond State Park. Units arrived to find a single vehicle submerged in the water with unknown occupancy. Members from the NCC Surface Water team arrived and used the winch on Rescue 27 to secure the vehicle and begin to remove it to determine the occupancy. It was determined the vehicle was unoccupied and turned over to DNREC for further investigation. Units responding were B-27, B-15, M-6B, Rescue 27, 27-M2, 15-M2, 12-M2, 20-M3, SO-15 and SO-20.
