Sunday afternoon, November 9th at 12:45hrs, Stations 1&27, Medic 6, Trooper 4 and A-10 on the road were alerted for a helicopter crash at Summit Aviation. Firefighters arrived to find a Rotoway Exec 162F two seat experimental helicopter on it's side. The fuel to the aircraft was isolated by the initial crews. One patient was evaluated by EMS and refused treatment. The scene was turned over to the Delaware State Police, NAA and NTSB for investigation. Units responding were: Rescue 27, E27-5, 27-1, E27-3 (@station 1), B-27, A-10, Medic 6 and Trooper 4.
