Sunday, August 2nd at 13:05hrs, Stations 1&27, Stations 4&24 for an engine and rescue, and Station 26 for an engine were alerted for a house struck by lightning in the Springmill community. Fire department personnel arrived and were able to confirm points of entry and exit along with damage to the exterior of the home. Crews checked the residence for additional damage as well as with the thermal imaging camera for signs of excess heat or fire, but found none.
