Sunday afternoon at 14:38hrs, Stations 1&27, Engine and Rescue 4&24 and Engine 26 were alerted for a commercial structure fire on North Cass Street in Middletown. Engine 27-5 arrived and had a gas fed fire along side B of the structure. Access to the fire was hampered due to the snow and limited access to this side of the building. The crew stretched a 1 3/4" line to the fire location and were able to isolate the gas valve to the heating unit and extinguish the fire. Additional crews from Middletown, Odessa and Townsend assisted, checking for extension to the interior of the building.
