Wednesday morning, February 24th at 03:41hrs, Stations 1&27, Stations 4&24 for a tanker and rescue and Station 29 for a tanker were alerted for a barn fire in the area of 1035 Jamison Corner Road. Chief Bailey arrived on scene shortly after dispatch and advised of a house fully involved. Engine 27-5 and Rescue 1 arrived on scene moments later and established hose lay's for water supply from recently installed hydrants in the area. Due to water pressure problems, an additional tanker company was requested, adding Station 26 to the alarm. Delaware City also responded as the RIT with Rescue 15. No one was home at the time the fire broke out. The MOT stations were covered by Smyrna, Clayton, Galena and Five Points. Crews were on scene for close to 4 hours.
