Another cover up, another fire - Chestertown
Thursday, September 3, 2015
Middletown was alerted at 2:30 am to send an engine to stand by at the Chestertown Fire Department in Maryland while they were fighting a fire in Rock Hall. Engine 27-5 responded and arrived at their station to find that they were paired up with a ladder from Sudlersville, MD.
While there, they were dispatched to a building fire at Washington College. Both units arrived on scene and were met by a security guard stating that he had extinguished a bathroom fire on an upper floor. They found the remains of a fire and smoke in the hallway. After making sure the fire and smoke were out, they returned to Chestertown firehouse until released around 6:30 am.
