Volunteer Hose, Townsend, and Odessa fire companies were alerted to a possible gas leak in the residence in the 400 block of Spring Hollow Drive in Parkside. Crews detected gas in the structure and took action to remove it. The gas company was called and all units cleared. Units responding: Engine 27-5, Tower 27, Rescue 27, Engine 27-3 (from station 1), and ambulance A-1. Odessa & Townsend also had units on scene. Chief Frank Bailey had command.
