Thursday evening, approximately 30 members from the fire department attended the dedication of the Levels Road Park to honor Past Chief Charles Price for his years of dedication to the fire department and the Town of Middletown throughout his life. The park will now be known as the Charles E. Price Memorial Park at Levels Road. Past Chief Price served as Chief of the Department from 1962 until 1971. He had a long commitment to the Town of Middletown, including serving on the town council and as Mayor for many years. Chief Price also served as President of the Delaware State Fire Chiefs Association. Chief Price past away in March of 2010.
