On the 10th Anniversary of the terrorist attacks on our Nation, the Volunteer Hose Company of Middletown along with several of our neighboring departments traveled to Smyrna to participate in a candlelight ceremony to honor the victims of that day. It was also a time to remember the senseless loss of life of our fellow Americans that occurred in New York City, the Pentagon and in Pennsylvania, including the loss of our 343 brothers and sisters from the Fire Department of New York.
