Wednesday, March 28th at 14:47hrs, the Volunteer Hose Company of Middletown, New Castle County Medic 5 and Trooper 4 were alerted for a vehicle accident involving a occupied school bus.  Fortunately, no injuries were reported to firefighters when they arrived onscene.

The Appoquinimink School District had several personnel respond to assist the school children and their transfer to another bus.
