Thursday morning around 02:14hrs, the Volunteer Hose Company was alerted for a ladder cover assignment for Christiana Fire Company.  Christiana was operating the scene of a apartment building fire in the Brandywine Woods Apartments off of Pulaski Highway and Route 1.

Tower 27 with a crew of 6 responded to Christiana Station 3.  Once there, the crew was redirected to the fire scene as the incident grew to an eventual 5 alarm fire.  The crew assisted with locating areas of extension in multiple apartment units until being released by the Incident Commander around 06:30hrs.
