Apartment Fire with Smoke Condition - Fairfield Commons

The Volunteer Hose Company of Middletown, Odessa and Townsend Fire Companies were alerted for an apartment fire in the Fairfield Commons complex. Deputy Chief Watts arrived with a smoke condition present holding the alarm from being upgraded to a working alarm. A fire on the stove that had been extinguished prior to the fire department arriving on scene resulted in several units becoming filled with smoke. The alarm was reduced to Rescue 27 and Tower 27 to ventilate the affected apartments.
