Tuesday morning, the Volunteer Hose Company was alerted to back-to-back vehicle accidents. The first occurred on New Street at Cole Blvd. Crews transported two occupants to CER for additional treatment of their injuries. The second, within minutes of apparatus arriving on scene at the first alarm, happened on South Cummings Drive in Middletown Crossing. Two minors were transported to CER for further evaluation as well.
