On Christmas Eve Day at 14:03 hours, Volunteer Hose was alerted to a Motor Vehicle Collsion, Car vs pole with other hazards. First units arriving found a single car had run off the road and hit a high voltage utility pole, breaking the pole in two places. The lone occupant had exited the vehicle prior to our arrival. Situation was deemed under control and turned over to Delaware State Police.
