This morning Volunteer Hose Company was alerted to a Motor Vehicle Collision on Summit Bridge Road on top of Summit Bridge. Arriving units found a single vehicle had slid on the icy roadway and hit bridge barrier. Delaware State Police were already on scene, incident was property damage only. Units cleared, and upon returning to quarters, were alerted to a second Motor Vehicle Collision on Cedar Lane Road. Units arrivinig found a single vehicle had also slid on the icy road and off the roadway into a wooded area. Situation was deemed under control and units returned to quarters.
