MVC with Entrapment - 1700 Block Choptank Rd

On Januray 26, 2013 the Volunteer Hose Company of Middletown was alerted to an MVC with entrapment on the 1700 block of Choptank Rd. This alarm occurred while all of our members were preparing for our annual awards banquet. Mutual aide cover up was being provided by Citizens Hose Company, Station 44, of Smyrna. Engine 44 responded along with Rescue 27, 1-6, A27, B1, DSP Trooper 4 and Medic 5. First units arriving reported heavy entrapment. Extracation was completed and patient was transported via DSP Trooper 4 to the trauma center. Situation was placed under control and units returned to their respective stations.
